Well it was 30 degrees, so windy I could have blown over and I'm heading towards the peak of my training, all 8 mile mid week runs this week. 6 weeks till marathon. I ran an "easy" 8 today at 8:51 miles. That's faster than my training plan says so I'm okay with it. I need 8:39 mpm's for Boston qualifying, I think I'm doing okay so far- long runs are great- so far my 14 miler was 8:46 mpm's, 16 miler was 8:33 mpm's and my 8 miler last weekend was 8:53 mpm's. SO I'll keep on keepin on! 40 miles this week, highest mileage so far! Next week gets harder, I can DO it!!! |
