Running Accomplishments:

Hi!  So I've ran 2 marathons- (Twin cities and Chicago) I'm training to qualify for Boston this January 18th in Arizona at the Rock N roll marathon.  I've ran 5 half marathons in California, Nebraska, and Arizona.  I've ran dozens of shorter races all over and I know my passion for running sometimes crosses the border to obsession.  I've been running for 7 years now, but only have I become serious since I trained for my first full marathon in October of 2007.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to qualify for Boston this January 18th in Arizona!!!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I will join 50 and D.C after completing the Rock N roll marathon this January.  I plan to run all 50 states, then run marathons in places like Ireland, Greece, Paris and Hawaii!  I also want to complete an Iornman Triathalon, and run at least one Ultra marathon.

Personal:

I'm married with 2 children.  I work 50 hours a week go to school 18 hours a week and try to fit some fun in between the daily grind and my running schedule!

Well it was 30 degrees, so windy I could have blown over and I'm heading towards the peak of my training, all 8 mile mid week runs this week.  6 weeks till marathon.  I ran an "easy" 8 today at 8:51 miles.  That's faster than my training plan says so I'm okay with it.  I need 8:39 mpm's for Boston qualifying, I think I'm doing okay so far- long runs are great- so far my 14 miler was 8:46 mpm's, 16 miler was 8:33 mpm's and my 8 miler last weekend was 8:53 mpm's.  SO I'll keep on keepin on!  40 miles this week, highest mileage so far!  Next week gets harder, I can DO it!!!
